| Job Responsibilities | As a Production Manager, responsible for managing the employees and end-to-end operations of Production Units using available machinery/technology and process norms to ensure smooth, efficient & cost-effective. Prepare production plan, organize staff, and direct the manufacturing operations ensuring profitability. Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, etc. Responsible for coordination with all related departments in the Supply Chain service line and with external customers, buyers representatives, and Mold & Machine manufacturers. Ensuring adherence to cost control measures and leading process specifications and quality standards. Supervises key/sensitive operations of the production process based on process and quality parameters and controls. Encourages and ensures autonomous maintenance by production operators for all minor maintenance jobs in the Unit. Takes steps to minimize losses, rejects, and reworks on a daily basis. Assists in the production planning process by providing all necessary information on past and future production projections based on factory floor level capabilities and constraints. Assists Head – Supply Chain in continuously identifying opportunities for technology and process-related up-gradation/ innovation with a view to enhancing the operational efficiency of the production process. Work closely on office security with Security & Health Safety Personnel to ensure a Clean & Safe working environment. Assist in manpower planning, recruitment, and evaluation of the team members. Draft reports and data analysis for review of the top management. Any other projects assigned by the management. |
