Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
Assist Pharmacist in Medicine Dispensing with proper counselling of patients.
Assist Pharmacist in medicine preparation (if stat dose needed or if suspension has to be prepared).
Assisting Pharmacists to maintain all health stocks i.e: medications, medical equipment, medical logistics and consumables.
Maintain work area in an organized and hygienic manner
Keep pharmacy equipment clean and in good working order
Ensure products and shelves are kept neat and tidy
Adhere to quality assurance standards at all times
Ensure protection against insects and pests inside the storage spaces
Monitor the quality of products at the time of receipt. Put aside non-compliant or infected products and report to Pharmacist
Ensure the safety of the items inside storage.
Assist in ensuring Quality Assurance in medicinal and supply management.
Pay special attention to expiration dates, follow the FEFO/FIFO method.
Donating items before potential waste of stock
Ensure timely reporting on stock status
Maintain updated inventory lists
Assist Pharmacist to maintain IPC at pharmacy and health post
Prevent theft, physical damage, and contamination of drugs.
Support pharmacist to organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.
Other Responsibilities
Assist Pharmacist in giving monthly requisition of medicine, medical equipment (when needed) according to the needs of the health post
Participate in the writing of procurement status report and stock reports on time
All reports should be made on soft copy and saved properly.
